About Peak

Licensed after-school and summer programs in Thornton where kids grow in confidence, respect, and discipline while having fun every day.

Climbing New Heights in Childcare & Enrichment

Peak Summer Camp & After School has been part of the Thornton community since 2005. We started as a family-owned program built on the belief that kids deserve more than just a place to pass the time after school. Today, we’re proud to be a Black- and woman-owned business licensed by the State of Colorado, serving families across Thornton, Broomfield, Westminster, and Northglenn. We provide parents with peace of mind and children with opportunities to grow through martial arts, sports, STEM, arts & crafts, and imaginative play. At Peak, we are more than just a child care program; we’re a place where kids and families feel connected, supported, and inspired to reach the Peak.

Mission Statement

To provide families with trusted care and kids with opportunities to learn, play, and thrive every day.

The Peak Difference

Parents have options for childcare, but Peak has stood out for nearly 20 years with trusted, community-centered programs. Families stay with us year after year because we combine safe, licensed care with enriching activities and a welcoming environment that kids love.

Child Development at the Core

Every activity at Peak is designed to build confidence, respect, and discipline. From martial arts to STEM, kids don’t just stay busy, they grow.

Consistency You Can Count On

Over 70% of kids stay with us from kindergarten to middle school, walking into the same welcoming space with the same caring staff.

Rooted In Community

For nearly two decades, Peak has been part of Thornton family life. From school partnerships to holiday traditions, we’re proud to grow alongside the community we serve.

Our Story

When we opened our doors in 2005, we saw a gap between simple childcare and meaningful enrichment. Parents needed more than a safe place for kids to spend the afternoon; they wanted their children to be active, engaged, and supported in ways that would carry into school and life.

Peak was built to answer that need. As a family-owned program, we set out to create licensed care that felt personal and community-driven. What began as a small after-school program has grown into a trusted space where kids explore martial arts, STEM, sports, arts, and more, all while building confidence and lasting friendships.

Nearly two decades later, our mission hasn’t changed: give families peace of mind and give kids a place to grow.

Core Values

Clear communication and transparent pricing with no surprises, just real value.

Woven into everything we do, from martial arts to daily activities, teaching kids discipline, kindness, and confidence.

Building long-term relationships with parents and the community.

Every child feels seen, supported, and welcomed as part of the Peak family.

We encourage kids to try, stumble, and grow because every challenge builds resilience.
